749 Battery Box Nightmare Help

  1. Can anyone tell me what looks off etc while im in here... its a mess and theres wires in there that should not be as well as stuff thats dangling off that looks like it belongs somewhere

  2. Do you have a workshop manual? There’s great colour coded diagrams in there showing what is what.

    They always looks a mess.
    How do you know there’s wires in there that shouldn’t be? If you know this, maybe re-route them?

  3. The injector/coil/pump relay has been put where the diagnostic connector should live. If you look at the top left of the battery box there is a square rubber receptacle that the relay will fit into, there is sufficient wiring to move it. There are images of the battery box layout in the service manual.

    its the white and blue ones at the bottom but ill check it out

  9. Chris posted this image when I had a similar nightmare with my 999.

    I built mine up as per the image and everything fell neatly into place when i put the assembly back on the bike.
