  1. For those in the Bournemouth area, new Ducati store in Ferndown! I’ll post updates as and when I get them…….completion scheduled for September

  2. Quite close to the old Three Cross I think...

  3. True to form it is not in Bournemouth...anyway good luck to them

  4. several miles away, but closer as the crow flies.

  5. Gives them a larger local target audience, not many punters coming in from the beach, certainly more convenient for me and probably much cheaper than in being in town.

  6. Certainly a lot closer than Winchester for me :upyeah:

  7. More convenient and closer than Alton for me, but I will need some convincing to change.

  8. When it comes to servicing 6 miles in the pissing down rain, which it always seems to be on the day it’s booked in for, rather than 42 won’t take much convincing for me :joy:

  9. We thought Ferndown would work well, nobody wants to ride in to Bournemouth on a sunny summers day, it’s a nightmare! The site is half a mile from the A31. We hope to see you there, I promise we’ll have good coffee!

  10. We’ll make it as easy as possible for you, even if it is raining it’s nothing that a bacon roll and coffee won’t sort!

  13. Commercial property in the town is really difficult in this area, Bournemouth can hit meltdown on a summers day too! The naming protocol for Ducati is to the nearest and largest town…..it was either Bournemouth or Poole:)

  14. that was a fairly easy decision.

  15. Good luck

  16. Thank you - much appreciated:):punch:

  17. Definitely ;)

  18. I cannot remember the last time we went to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. My Dad still lives in the Forest and plays golf near you, so we will definitely be in for coffee and bacon rolls. If you are going to welcome small groups I can see if my local RoSPA group want to make it a destination later in the year. If you want to support a local bike charity then I can put you in touch with someone at your local blood bike group. Although I think only two of us ride Ducatis.

  19. There’s some lovely riding around here so it’ll be worth coming over this way…..we’ll be doing proper barista style coffee as opposed the ditchwater from a machine! We had a good chat with Docbike at Poole Quay on Tuesday and we’ll want to do plenty with the local bike charities….none of us know when we might need them! Our email address is on the flyer I posted at the top of the thread, get them to drop us a line and I’ll pick it up! Cheers
