Hi all, what do you guys use to get the shine back on the black plastics on the 1200, specifically the beak/nose section and front mud guard. Obviously I can get an instant shine with GT85 or silicone spray but after I clean it the black plastics have a kind of grey shade, just wondered if I can apply anything to keep them black and shiny.
I use Auto Glym “ bumper care “ It needs a vigorous shake before using as the liquid seems to separate when left standing. sure other forum members will Suggest other products.

I've used Aerospace 303 for years. Haven't found anything that's come close for finish and longevity. It's not "shiny" as such, just brings out the original finish and keeps it that way. Great repellant for water, bugs etc.

Wurth Silicone spray, been using it for a multitude of purposes for year, expensive like all their stuff but very good quality.
I use Wurth 2040 regularly and I use Wurth Anti-corrosion on the lower engine parts as well, good quality and lasts well.
ACF50 ....don't go mad ...just a smidge ....turned my grey nose black ...... however hair remained grey ....
A long time ago on a Ducati forum far far away someone suggested using graphite paste the stuff you get in place of black lead. Which was used on cast iron fireplaces. I've used it on my F4 initially on the swing arm and frame side plates then on the plastic. I use it on the air tubes of the 1098 as well. Very messy putting it on but once on and polished with a rag doesn't come off until you wash it off with soap and water
I use Solution Finish black trim restorer. A little goes a long way. I used it on all the back unpainted plastics on my SF848 two years ago and they still look great.

Is a two year durability considered permanent? Sign of the times... Presume that after two years you can retreat?
