I’ve not thought Radiohead tracks to be depressing, for me more reflective but non of which I’ve found to be ‘razor blade’. I sincerely hope you don’t feel the same after listening to them, I’m sure it isn’t their intention when producing these masterpieces. Although my partner hates Radiohead on account she finds them depressing but yet herself always looks on the bright side. She finds The Smiths and by extension Morrisey the same but I’ve again found him to be reflective. Have a Killers track to cheer you up Chris.
I guess there's a chance they didn't mean to sound morose, but there's no doubt for me that that's how they come across in quite a few songs over the years, I don't think they'll be covering "Happy Talk" anytime soon N please let me have this one Nigel, or i will start quoting their lyrics!
