V4 Pikes Peak

  1. I’ve bought a couple of bits from both Vultirebike and CNC Racing…. Both match well and fit well. I also bought a carbon nose fairing from Maxicarbon which was pretty raw looking and need a bit of modification to fit properly… came up ok after a bit of wax/polishing.

  2. That’s good to know. I did email Vulturebike to check the weave, and they confirmed it will match, but there’s always a niggling doubt, until it arrives.

  3. First service has been done, the bike has been collected after having the paint correction and ppf applied, so I’m looking forward to getting it back next week and unleashing the full power.

  4. What did they charge you for the first Service, I was charged £295, My Mate was only charged £250 in another Dealership, its funny how there's so much difference as the time taken would be the same!!

  5. Had few other bits done at same time and will check invoice later but pretty sure the actual service on the V4PP was smidgen under £200 last month

  6. I’ve not seen the invoice yet, but I think he said it’s around the £250 mark.

  11. Saw this on a Multi V4 FB page. Guy has the full system on and it looks like the exhaust has affected the OEM indicator lens (discoloured)? Don’t know anything more but worth keeping an eye on?

He didn’t mention whether it just needed a wipe. :p

  12. I have the Evotech tail tidy with DP LED indicators, and they’re nowhere near the exhaust.

  13. yep, this looks like the OEM set up so more for the guys that have that possibly? Don’t have my bike yet lol but thought it was worth posting for those that do in case it’s a potential issue.

  17. My sex life is like a V4 Pikes Peak. I don't have a Pikes Peak either.

    :D

You have to just agree to have it land when it lands, no matter what anyone tells you (especially the dealer).

  18. I know how you feel. I ordered in November and delivery is now expected to be July. I’ve bought an ‘inbetweener’ (1260S) to see me through as I had been told my PP would arrive April/May and stupidly sold my old bike during the winter. Hey Ho. It’ll be all the more special when it arrives………;)

  19. You've had a bargain

  20. makes a nice change :joy:
