My eldest wants to be able to lock his bike up to immovable objects when he is out impressing the ladies with his stunts. Do i need a chain thingy or a D lock or something else? and how does it get carried ie attach to frame or carry it in rucksack??
Not sure I know but make sure it’s angle grinder proof, the fuckers round here go “shopping” with cordless grinders
Decent D lock on each wheel, going around forks and frame. Carry them in a rucksack. I'd also try to leave the bike in an area with plenty of foot traffic, for visibility. You'll never beat the most determined thief, but you can slowly the bastards down.

I can only think of one lock that resists angle grinders: https://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesoci...lok-d1000-review-angle-grinder-resistant-lock Do other locks exist that resist angle grinders?
Sadly I think all you can do is either ride round on such a shitter no one would want to nick it or make it as awkward as you can and lock it up next to a bike locked with a cheaper/weaker one than yours because they’ll usually go for the easier option?
did some work and found this uk based outfit and they are bikers too. stuff is made in the uk and has sold secure and police certs etc https://securityforbikes.com/about.php
