I’ve bought a pair of red ‘wings’ to replace the silver ones that came as standard (I just prefer the look - I know, each to their own, etc…). The replacement panels don’t come with the metal clips to fit over the plastic locating pins - at least, mine didn’t. Does anyone know the part numbers for the metal spring clips, or have a method for removing the ones already fitted to the silver panels, without snapping the plastic locator pins? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Yep red works well , and as mentioned the clips come off easy , added the black bash plate , bars and soon to come the rear sets in black as well.
Looks good! Did my fairing panels today - as you say the clips come off easily enough with patience! I much prefer the 'all red' look. Done the PP bars already, and added a short enduro screen (I prefer low screens). Just out of interest, did you buy the black bash plate for the PP, or have you had yours coated/painted?
Bought the PP one as the finish is anodised. The bars I have done are the crash bars in black . Leaving the standard bars as I like the wider feel .
Understood - many thanks once again. I’ve bought a spare (brushed alloy finish) belly pan from a dealer at a discounted price. Need to decide whether to go down the powder coat, ceramic coat or anodising route. Time for some research…
It was a local company to me near Gatwick, probably not ideal for you. https://a1-anodising.co.uk/ I also got the rear footrest hangers done at the same time. Paid cash which is why they were probably happy to do them
No worries. I’ve got a pal who lives not far away. I’ll ask him to check them out for me. Many thanks!
I got mine from Ducati, they are std panels for the stripy V4S and the red matches, £48 each which I thought was good for a Ducati part. I think vulture bike also do them but not sure how much... you'll have to remove the clips from the old panels when fitting.
I found them on https://www.bike-parts-ducati.com/ducati-motorcycle/assignment_spare_parts/4801A911AA but they are more expensive, do you mind saying where you bought yours. Thanks
