Well its finally arrived It was a slight punt you might say as I bought it on pics and not though ebay, however all the better as it was a sensible price and its almost new. Its Wearing a full 730ish miles and is the 'carbon' model. At this point I must say thanks to quarrybends for pointing me in its general direction I owe yourself a beer. Good points are its wearing a few extras some carbon but more importantly its got the 'race kit' fitted, this is the first level they offered of a exhaust system/filters/ecu. I'm going to get her run up on a dyno to see how healthy it is, also know where to change gear, I can't wait to have it under load at 12000rpm, it just seems wrong for a twin. Its even got all the factory warning stickers fitted still, its ideal for a collector.................. actually its ideal to be ridden I've fitted a new battery to it as the old one was knackered, it'd start the bike but not twice in a row. The only negative thing about the bike is a slight bit of micro blistering where its been under a cover, its only on the tank and should flat out. I can't update with how it rides till its had new belts and a service, its booked in at G-tech for this so two weeks till I can take it out. In the mean time i'll be making sure the suspension is at standard settings and move the subframe forward to get it all to a start point to get it set up for me. Anyway, some pictures. Sorry for the whoring but I just can't help it!
The only bikes value i've mentioned have been a 999S as I'd been following prices for a while as it was on my 'hit list' so was in a position to(I think). Hope that's not offended you? I'm keeping the figure to myself, how come you're so keen to know? I also had to factor in getting it delivered and the cost of a biggie service etc.
