Really like the red front mudguard, the stock black one looks cheap imo - that and the 'discoloured' looking heat shield were two things that struck me in first impressions.
Part number is 56416632A - £166.87. Much cheaper than the Carbon one! https://www.bike-parts-ducati.com/ducati-motorcycle/assignment_spare_parts/56416632AA Agree about the heat shield, not found a good cleaning product for it yet. Always ends up looking stained.
Red Fender, er, mud guard part number: It lists for $266 in the US but the dealer gave me a break on the price on everything. V4 Panigale sounds right... The solo tail now comes with no graphics so it will match different models. The fend, er, mud guard has no graphics either. I think they both look bare so am keeping my eye open for suitable additions. I have soem ideas but won't post until I've explored them more cuz they may turn out to look really bad in the end... EDIT: The part number Jimmy listed comes up as discontinued at one of the online shops in the USA. I have no idea what the difference between the two is, but the tag I posted is off the box mine came in, and it's an exact fit. Only difference is color.
Thanks for the info DesmoDog. According to Ducati Parts online we both seem to be talking about the same part numbers. Keep us informed of how your other ideas go because you are off to a good start! Hope you enjoy the bike.
I took delivery of a V2 SF yesterday and have just commuted to work (sat here reading the thread drinking my daily Costa!) What a lovely bike, so much less ‘threatening’ than the V4 I had…..little bit buzzy through the bars but it is a twin! The easiest Ducati to ride that I’ve been on to date…..looking forward to getting some miles on it
One thing I really like about the V2 over the V4 is that more of the engine is covered making it easier to clean and stuff.
