(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

  1. Swapped my darling’s M796 15T front sprocket with a brand new JT’s 14T today. She complained about never using 4th gear. I changed the retaining plate and bolts at the same time. Glad I went looking in there as, at 63.000km, it was about time… These retaining plates are crucial to the transmission set up and still, they look so frail! :astonished:
Also allowed to clean up a bit. I love dry lube. Things stay really clean, very easy.

  4. Fitted the Evotech exhaust hanger to the Pikes Peak, and the Evotech levers to the V2. I need to test the levers out in a minute, but it looks like it’s about to piss down.

  5. When I got home this afternoon I’d received a parcel from the DOCGB with goodies for WDW in July

    2 x WDW T shirts
    1 x flexible water bottle & carabiner
1 x sunglasses with (wait for it……..) a bottle opener in the arms :upyeah:

  12. 100 mile ride out with a mate, two stops for coffee and bacon, sausage and black pudding baps. Really pleasant out. Got home and fitted paddock stand bobbins and a horizontal head shield to the Monster.

Now sat contemplating what to have for tea and how long the beers I just put in the fridge will take to chill. Andy

  13. No mankini though?

  14. Taking my own :)

  15. Popped to the dealer to turn off my service light and bought a new jacket and pants.

I've worn Klim for a decade, but always look like I'm off to tackle the Antarctic, so tried on some Halvarssons stuff and really impressed with the quality. Will be great for weekend bimbles.
