Service interval is based on mileage or time whichever comes first. IMO, even though your mileage is low, I'd still change the belt at 5 years. Andy
I agree, though desmo valve service is purely on mileage I believe, belts can suffer with age, lack of use and mileage so best to stick with the Ducati recommended interval/mileage. You may well get away with longer but the consequences aren't ideal if one lets go.
