Have to be honest, HUGE respect for Marc's pretty much unequalled talent but this was always going to happen. He just crashed too much. As a 21/22 year old you bounce pretty well and he got lucky LOTS of times (e.g. Mugello above) but eventually his luck was going to run out and it seems like it has. Shame, he had it in him to beat Rossi's 9 championships but that won't happen now I fear. Hope I'm wrong but I'm afraid he's won his last championship, if not his last race.
Almost exactly my thoughts on him, although I don't agree with unequalled, he was 'of his time', I think he will see more race wins. but won't see another title ....
