  3. Rode over the Brecon Beacons with my Brother and my mate. Got soaked. My Richa waterproofs aren’t water proof, every time I’ve used them they’ve leaked in the crotch area (no, I hadn’t pissed myself) so they’re going in the bin.
Ride home was much better as the 80 ish miles were dry so we dried out a bit. Did over 200 miles, bike is booked in for a service including belts on Tuesday, I have booked a Pani V4 for the day!

  4. I’m taking my new Scrambler to have its ecu flashed and for it to be dyno’d. All because the Termi race system came off a Euro 4 bike and the new bike is Euro 5.

Still…….I’m not paying for it. Which is nice :)

  7. Second pass and he squeezed another 1bhp out. So it’s now 92bhp at the back wheel apparently :)

Rode home in the pissing rain, but the bike is a lot smoother, and “pulls like a train” immediately out of each gear. Which is nice :)

And it still burbles, pops and farts when downshifting. :upyeah:

  8. Fitted an RSR rear hugger.

Easy install and a pretty good match with the Akrapovic heat shield, so a bonus! Unknown.jpeg

  9. Got home from climbing at 2.30 in preparation to wash the bikes. It was overcast but dry. :)

Rolled the bikes onto the drive and it immediately started to rain

Rolled the bikes back in the garage with an amended plan of washing them tomorrow :)

5 mins later it stopped raining

Rolled the bikes back onto the drive again and decided come hell or high water they were going to be cleaned. :)

Thankfully it stayed dry and I managed to give them both a good clean, particularly the Scrambler as it was caked in road grime from yesterday’s ride to Burnley and back:)

They do make a handsome couple don’t they :)

They’re now back in the garage and tucked under their covers with their individual trickle chargers on :)

I also remembered to book the Bayliss in for it’s first service when I get back from my jollies :upyeah:

  10. Had my bike serviced today at Ducati Worcester, belts done and a new fuel sender, £680:weary_face:
I had a Panigale V4S for the day. Fast, awesome acceleration, great handling but extremely uncomfortable, I’ll stick to my Super Sport.

  13. Yeah well chuffed, had a good chat with the guy, he bought a 749r from auction(water damage) he paid 2k for the whole bike!!! Water didn’t even make it to the wheel axles, need to start monitoring these insurance auctions me thinks.

  14. Who would claim for getting their bike wet in a smallish puddle??

  15. I thought the same, might be a small part of a larger home flooding claim.

  16. Rebuilt this again, and refitted it again. Time for a beer now.
