So I got this stand with my 916 and was told it should be the bronze colour of the 916 frame and wheels. But I’ve seen these in this red colour. I would have said it's been repainted at some stage inlife as they're colour matched with the frame, unless they did a small batch in red..............over to the experts.
The stand is the incorrect colour and will thus seriously undervalue your investment. Plus, when red, they do not function correctly.
No holding back from you guys eh. I don’t use the stand and doubt I ever will.. I’ve a pit bull rear stand and got the Harris front which Rickyx suggested and both are great. BUT. are yous sure they were all bronze..
The one that came with my '02 MY 748R is the same grey as the frame. And despite @Sev's assertion, I have never had an issue using mine but then I have sufficient mass, unlike some of the lightweights on here Andy
