  4. Thanks. Using the site on a phone it can easily happen by accident.

  5.
  6. Did you sell these?

  7. I did, but someone is selling the rider seat on here at the moment.

  8. For the benefit of those considering a custom seat, be prepared to go back and have it adjusted a few times until you get it right for "you".
Just dropped mine back for the 3rd time for what I hope will be a final reshape. Although I will say I am by nature an uncomfortable git on most seats including cars, and tend to move about and fidget. Tall and slim, so not enough fat on my arse to cushion it out ! :joy:

  9. I had my original seat and really couldn’t seat on it for longer than about 1hr. Being a sceptic as I am, I got myself a comfort seat by Ducati/Touratech. And can’t believe the change. It’s bit taller but firmer and my bum doesn’t scream that often. Recent +6hr on French motorway gone fairly quickly and ‘comfortly’.

  10. Are you still doing these? Pm sent

  11. I’m a bit late in the day on this post, but are you still making these seats?

    cheers

  12. I think @Sam1199 is in Spain at the moment

  13. Yes - I would be interested in a price too if possible ?

  14. Hopefully @Sam1199 doesn't mind me posting this.

I bought a seat from him over the winter and we met up in Amsterdam to do the exchange (thanks again mate!).

Pre Sam... I could do maybe 3 or 4 hours in the oem seat until I got arse smarties, numb thighs and just agonising pain getting off and on the bike due to skin tenderness.

Post Sam... I did a flat out week of 8+ hours of riding a day a couple of weeks back in Spain for just over a week. Ending with a single 17 hour ride all the way home in one day. My arse was happy the entire time. Also the gripper texture... gone are the days of crushing the nads every 5 minutes.

  15. Hi,
I’ve just come across this thread and was wondering if @Sam1199 is still making these seats. I tried to PM him but it’s throwing up an error message. Any info is greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

  18. "He who seeks will find" says the scripture.

I've been looking all over and finally came across two "new" Touratech seats for my Pikes Peak 1200 DVT.
Both driver and passenger. They were advertised in Italy, and have been fitted to a Multistrada for 3 months.

    Talk about luck.
With shipping and insurance, they cost me 485 euros. He had paid 850 euros for the seats when he bought them new.
    Can't wait to try it

  19. Would be interested in how much you get stung for in VAT and import duty when they arrive please. Assuming your bringing them into the UK?
