Cleaned the Tuono, its kind of becoming a work horse these days and I dont take care of it as well as I should.
Gave the bike a run out to work after a couple of weeks away. then got home to take deliver of some stunning Peter Lieb carbon
Oberon slave made the clutch lighter. Also, if I’m not mistaken it makes gear selection better. Rear brake slight better but needs more adjustment, still not great. Maybe pads need to bed in more and I’m going to bleed it again because I didn’t do that the other day. When I bled the rear on my Panigale before going to Spain I got a real shock when I stomped on it…it worked. Haven’t made up my mind about a Stahlbus non return bleed valve or reverse bleeding. Watch for the next instalment.
Took the plugs out of my little 600ss and gave them a clean up. She's not been started for about a month, fired up on the button fairly well. Let it warm up for a bit and Rode it around the block, all good. Had a couple of hours out on the superlight this afternoon, first time this year in leathers. I really should ride this bike more, but the modern version has been getting my attention lately.
Changed the side stand foot hook thingy (what is this called anyway?) for a slightly longer version. Hopefully less of a drunk, blind duck look now when I park up
Needed some chain lube so took a ride out to Ducati Chelmsford, grabbed some breakfast while there and took a look at a few of the toys they have there Came home to some gifts from Ducati Cambridge (vindis), where I bought my v4
That first one is a bit busy in the wing department innit? Not what you’d call pretty is it? Edit: just noted it’s a V4 Superleggera - fark me it’s ugly. Ridiculous wingeage.
