  2. Well.
That was a bit dull after the first two laps.

  3. Just got back from walking the dogs and watching it on rewind. Full analysis to follow ;)

  4. What odds on Rea going to Ducati in 2023? I think pretty high personally. That would put the cat amongst to pigeons.

    BMW = busted flush.

  5. Ooh enjoyed that and the end of the SS race, so close for the v2!

At least Redding is still finishing consistently above baz and the other cart horses.

Nice to see vr46 and bezzechi in attendance too.

  6. Toprak and R1 struggling against the two front runners.
Let’s hope Bautista doesn’t crumple under the pressure like he did before.

  7. Most interesting things this week were Toprak not getting a MotoGP ride and Rae saying that he has never ever been offered a MotoGP ride.

  8. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^He'd two rides on that Honda back in 2010?

  9. That is correct and IIRC, about 4 years ago (or was it 3 ?) when his future was being discussed, JR made a conscious decision to remain in WSBK, fat fish in a small pond only Toprak burst his bubble. Andy

  10. I think your forgetting Scott and Bautista also rattle rattle his cage.

  11. Scott didn’t (and is unlikely to) win a WSBK championship. Alvaro blew it at the first attempt but let’s see if he can see it through this year, although I doubt it. Like him or not (and I don’t) JR is the best Kawasaki WSBK rider in history and Kawasaki built the best bike (for JR) for a long time. Andy

  12. Yes JR knows that bike inside out now after how many titles, plus his track knowledge is second to none and just sheer determination wins the day.

  13. I saw somewhere that Rae said he has never been offered a GP ride, probably an interview he did. I assume he meant a full factor contract rather than two stand in rides.
    But it’s a fair point.

  14. Could be a number of reasons not least his age, lack of MotoGP sponsor, insufficient sponsorship funds and for my money, (at the time his future was being discussed) too many talented young guns waiting in the wings. Andy

  15. Race 2 much better entertainment. Rae seriously not happy with the Kwak reading his body language. Not heard interview yet.
Ducati to win the final race methinks.

  16. Big fan of that petrucci to ducati talk.
    Certainly more so than Rea.

  18. It’s not even a surprise or scary anymore. o_O

  19. Race three was bloody scary :joy:

I wonder if JR has started crying again yet.

  20. Both Toprak and Rae having to ride the wheels off their bikes just to stay in touch. V scary. Good watch though for a while.
New rev limit looks a distinct possibility for Ducati after next two rounds - Scott Smart grid chat was interesting.
