^^^^^yes but the show must go on or we'll just rot in our chairs waiting for that day ourselves and achieving a big fat nothing, let's be positive it's the ultimate test between man & machine on the public roads.
Whilst i understand where you are coming from, i suspect the attitude that 'people die just accept it', will mean that the TT will not survive.

Sorry , it was during his interview post race on the TT+ app ( so am unable to quote word for word ) ,but in typical laid back style after 6 warp speed laps of the course calmly and meticulously spoke of the huge highs and massive lows of the week, but said that they all know the high risks they take to race the course . The BBC ( bullshit broadcasting company ) have missed out the crux of what he was saying. As mentioned the full interview will crop up somewhere if you don’t have the app to rewatch the full senior race.

There was an update from Boothy from 44Teeth earlier today regarding his crash. Doesn't make great reading. He has had his right leg amputated below the knee, multiple ops since his crash and some spinal damage. https://www.44teeth.com/2022-isle-of-man-tt-boothys-statement/
I read this earlier. I knew it had to be bad because 44 teeth hadn’t commented on it since it happened. His leg shouldn’t be a problem but the spinal injury could be a long road, I’ve been there and it’s scary lying in a hospital bed wondering if you will walk again.
