They love that he is a winner. Not so many pin ther flag to Rossi's pole (excuse the euphenism) now that he is off the boil. A fate Casey will suffer if he stays around long enough to find out. Nowt as fickle as a sports fan generally. Switch teams in anything sporty especially football etc and you go from hero to devil incarnate overnight especially if your not winning anymore. (Spanish dude in Chelsea springs to mind, sorry don't know his name as not big on football)
Mate, this is a Ducati forum. Bugger off back to your Honda place for that stuff  Muah ha ha
You'll be surprised actually, Rob who runs this forum also runs the cbr1000rr.co.uk forum and even though there's a few of us on there who rate Stoner a lot actually still go gooey eyed at the sight of Rossi. Me personally I'm a stoner fan but at least I always have been when he's not been winning titles (apart from 07) , I guess his charm wins me over
For me it was his effervescent personality and warming charm. He has real presence that can only be achieved by those with greatness in them. [caveat]I occasionally say things in jest...[/caveat]
Blimey i've heard it all now. I can't even think of a sensible reply because your way off the scale. Imola will come to the rescue with a suitable retort. There are the dedicated fans who stick with it thick or thin but way to many change with the wind. Lets face it it's more fun to support someone who's winning than not.
Shirley you can't be sherious? Jokes aside, I've been a Casey fan for a long time. I always follow the Aussies when I hear about them and I used to follow a lot of press. I don't have as much time now with work being nuts, Uni and doing a lot more cycling but I try. I'm behind on my Racer magazine subscription for the first time ever, I've got one unopened befcause I haven't finished the previous one and that's a first!
