Midges were pretty busy at the Y Giler Inn on Thursday night, luckily had a few Purple Moose’s to aid sleep

 

Spent the day (yesterday) playing on a Tiger 1200 at the Triumph Adventure Centre and being a part of them filming some promo footage for their Adventure Experience. Finally managed to get airborne using a kicker bump.

 

Went and bought a load of fish & seafood for the bbq tonight, but the weather looks crap now, so it’s all in the freezer and we’ve ordered a Thai takeaway instead!

 

545 miles. Hot ain’t the word! All RN and D roads. Every village empty! All indoors 39/40 c . Great East side of Rhône run. Roads brilliant almost no traffic. 100km run did not see another vehicle. Bizarre. Quieter tha I can ever remember. Just this old git plodding on.

We were at Devils Bridge and pitched by the river so they were pretty bad.

To be fair, my tent is pretty good at keeping them out, but as soon as you open that entrance, you have to be quick or they're all in making your life miserable.

A run out to Porchester, not knowing it was their gala weekend. Hundreds of people and slow moving traffic. Was allowed to park near the castle and managed to get a drink and a cake at the church cafe. The Monster is now run in and is booked for its first service on Monday. Had belly pork cooked in bulgogi sauce for tea and had a few beers catching up on BSB and MotoGP. An excellent day was had. Andy

Been out for a ride this afternoon, spent a lot of time avoiding wankers who can’t drive, or removed Their brains because the sun has come out.

 

Watched Moto2 then Moro GP. Took a friend out for lunch, now lying in the garden.

 

Plenty of DIY, fitted 2 new blinds in the house, then did a load more in the garage fitting more flooring, skirting, plywood to get some hooks up and a bit of organising. Still got some stuff to organise in there but getting there now.
