If JR finds his mojo, you can kiss goodbye to WSBK. Him winning all the time is boring as is his petulance when he doesn't. FQ is probably a done deal now as there is no-one with the consistency to take it to him. Even Moto2 is developing into a more watchable alternative. Moto3 is IMO still the only format that routinely entertains. SP 300 however is getting there. Andy
I'll be watching both, but enjoying WSB more than MotoGP this season thanks to messrs Rea, Razgatioglu and Bautista. Having said that, it's already looking like the title's Alvaro's to lose.
I've not seen one single WSB race as yet, as no Sky link up unfortunately for me, only on a BT sport basic package. It's probably more exciting than Motogp's at the minute for what i saw last season, the days when the following happened are long gone.
I can only watch MGP on ITV4 - the commentary is diabolical, the sound of the bikes is turned down low, no atmosphere, basically shite. WSB on the other hand is kin great - close racing, noisy and a small chance of a Ducati title!
Interesting Richard. I have BT Sport but did start to watch on ITV4 and ITV this weekend in the hope that the more who watch the more chance they will get it free to air. But I had to switch over pretty quickly due to the studio team. Not sure who was commentating. Didn’t get that far tbh.
Indeed. Consequently, I have no interest in who wins and also, the actual racing is not very interesting.
It was Matt oxley on comms and Bradley smith and tossland in the studio. The Doris who was hosting hosts the cycling on Eurosport too. I prefer oxley because I think emmett on bt sport comms is a complete helmet lol. Nice to have a choice
Brilliant vid just gone up on 44 Teeth looking at Topraks bike. The bracing near the headstock Well worth a watch. linky:-
TdF soon, probably watch the Lantern Rouge round ups on that there YouTube rather than the mainstream.
Wsbk for the racing but my god the coverage is awful... the camera angles are always long and slow, there is something about the footage that just grates on me. Someone on here once gave me a super technical answer, it's a Dorna film crew, but something to do with frame rates for Eurosport, just makes the coverage look disconnected, plus the adverts with the dodgy dubbed voiceovers and constant cycling adverts do my head in. I still think BSB is the best racing to watch on telly, the Sachensring GP was an absolute snooze fest, the bikes can't follow each other, the stupid ride height things are... well... stupid.. yeah, that's what I think of that
