Brother-in-law has done about 8 of them back in the late 80’s/ 90’s before even triathlons became a main stream event in the Olympics, I think he teaches junior GB triathlons now but he was a ranking PE teacher in the Navy, I don’t know why anyone would do one is it still swim 2miles cycle a million miles and run a marathon mad the lot of them.
2 and a little, 100 miles plus to pedal plus the marathon to finish you off. Haven’t done so many but I used to find them entertaining. One last throw of the dice it’s been about 8 years since I last did one…..
