Ebay Issue - Anyone Know Stephen Rowland?

  1. I don't know Furious Stephen, but recollect his brother seemed to be angry about something most of the time.

    Might be a family thing.

I'll get my coat, come on Eileen......

  2. That is so unreasonable I would use the report buyer and request revision options to point out you don't own Evri, don't work for Evri and have proof of postage so have taken every reasonable step to ensure delivery. He's lost nothing but his sanity, you've lost time, money and the part.
I believe Ebay might be able to step in with those options but haven't had to use them yet.

  3. sadly i have spoken to Danny at ebay thi morning and the feedback is not revisable by eBay as it reflects the buyers experience apparently. I have sent a revision request but presume he is still too furious to revise it. eBay's advice was just to reply to it explaining i did everyhting i could. Sadly my 100% 5200 feedback score is now not 100%, and he can carry on with his 37 feedback scroe without consequence. Id just be wary of Furious Stephen Rowland, he owns a panigale R apparently so may need parts in the future.

  4. Does this buyer have anything for sale? Just out of interest.

  5. too furious to sell anything. But ill keep an eye on his account ;)

  6. Anyone that describes themselves as 'furious' is either a dickhead or a DJ...:D
I had similar a while ago. The neg only lasts a certain period, or used to.

  8. Well…. A bit of an update. Furious Stephen must have calmed down a touch throughout the course of the day and messaged me to say his feedback wasn’t aimed at me but at EVRI.

I explained they won’t even see it and that it’s causing damage to my account not EVRI. Stephen has revised his feedback, not sure he knew what to actually do, but the negative has gone so I’m happy…. Now to sit back and watch the sales roll in :joy:

  9. He’s still a twat.
If he thinks shelling out £200-£300 to adjust his £17k motorbike is outrageous perhaps he should have bought a Honda?

  10. He’s read the DF negative feedback and no likey it at all more like.

  11. Slight change of heart. Someone had a word in his ear no doubt.

  12. TBF when Hermes/Evri have lost a shipment of mine the claims prosses has been pretty painless, as long as you've taken out the insurance to cover.
Never, ever use DHL, if they lose or steal an item, it takes a minimum of three months for them to even look at the claim, they will only cover your cost of purchasing the item, not the sale onward price, this is despite you buying their insurance to cover the sale price.
They will also expect you demonstrate that you did buy the item in the first instance with a receipt.
In the OPs example they would simply refuse the claim.
    Utter Kuntz.

  13. I’ve claimed on a couple of the years that were valued more than the basic insurance I had. Always paid out without issue. Never had to provide evidence of purchase just the ebay screenshots to prove what it sold for. Think on this specific parcel has a glitch on the internet website and I can’t even complain about it as the AI systems crash when they look at the tracking

  14. Sadly, between the fee's and the lack of power to protect yourself as a seller I gave up. They even called me a few months back asking if there was anything they could do to get me back onto the site and selling again so told them straight about the bias towards buyers and the harms its caused.

Feel for the OP on this one, had similar myself as my first even negative feedback and its just frustrating that some people dont have a brain call to put 2+2 together

  15. I’ve used Post Office/Parcel Force with only 1 lost (and quickly dealt with) out of about 40 parcels being sent.

  16. What I had to do in the end.
    Zero customer care.

  17. Who cares about eBay feedback anyway! Unless it is 100% negative o_O Still might turn up yet or maybe it already has,We had a parcel go missing (6 grands worth of lights in the box) through DPD and never knew about it until 2 weeks later when we checked with the customer … DPD admitted (in writing) that it hadn’t been delivered and that they had lost it ….. 3 days later it ended up being returned back to me VIA HERMES!!!! No one knows how or why it got returned to be even tho my details were not even on the box and I don’t even book in the parcels myself as they are done by the account holder who is based 100’s of miles away from me …..

  18. Only explanation is witchcraft, I’m amazed Herpes/Evri incompetence here actually delivering a parcel to someone vaguely connected to the transaction.

Although to be fair so far so good with Herpes/Evri………..I’ve cursed now haven’t I?:worried:

  19. Recently had a delivery via Evri
No problems left in my safe place and a note through the door

I haven't had any issues apart from one that had gone to my next door neighbour
