Ok but they didn't really light my fire, perhaps i was not in the mood after my free sunday roast & wine.
Sounds like you need the Doors (again) - your above comment was probably Freudian. They can be a bit marmite with me as well, but I hadn’t seen them for quite awhile so I guess it was this plus the whole visual experience adds a lot for me.
I see what you mean, that is good isn’t it? Amazing visually, best I saw was probably momentary lapse at Earls Court which pails into insignificance, much smaller venue and older technology of course.
XH is referencing Take That isn’t he? Clearly massive boy band fan hence his Roxy Music fascination too.
Sometimes bands be better in smaller settings if they’re simple shows but not if you lighting and such on a grand scale. I saw Badly Drawn Boy 2019 in a church in Birmingham sat in pews close to him, was a great show although not on the scale of Muse.
too right, also remember a few Knebworth visits where i was too close to the front to enjoy any light shows so a lot of luck. Conversely, I couldn't get further away when I saw "The Wall" not long after release, so much so that I didn't feel part of it, despite amazing effects for the day.
After a recommendation at the weekend I’ve just watched Legend on Netflix starring Tom Hardy. Brilliant how he plays both Kray twins……..in particular the mad one, Ronnie Definitely recommend!
Caught up on this weeks repair shop last night. Had a little something in my eye when the old Indian fella got his radio back. Such a boss show.
Obi Wan, it’s garbage but hey only 2 episodes left. Lucas should have kept to the first 3 releases everything beyond that has ruined StarWars. Disney has just completely destroyed the franchise for me.
Agreed- both Obi and The Mandalorian appear to have been made by students in a gravel pit somewhere.... Gave up.
I kind of agree, I quite liked the Mandalorian, Rogue 1 was a good film as was the force awakens, the last 2 especially the last Jedi was really poor. I’m just waiting for Disney to put Mickey ears on Vader and Yoda
