Jpdiag got a newer version on a new laptop, managed to get it to connect, seems to read everythinh OK, and if I try to register it says license not needed for 59 and the service reset is bold, so I can click on it but its not resetting the spanner icon anyone got any idea why? If I use guzzidiag which ecu do I choose? Thanks
As you probably know this crops up fairly frequently, and there are experts on here who I'm sure will help, in the meantime a search of the subject on the forum, and these links may provide a start: https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/service-indicator-successfully-reset.91747/#post-1976513 , https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/home-spanner-men-service-light-reset.90538/ . Good luck, Tom.
Use IAWDiag from Guzzidiag. Select IAW59M IPF2C. Select slow Init. The IPF2C relates to the linear TPS. Are you using Slow Init in JPDiag? Reinstalling the software may help.
Hi Chris, doesn't say fast or slow just as in the picture, and the guzzi one does not show that ecu option?
Your JPDiag is set up for Galleto Cable. Click the ? and set it for the Vagcom 409.1. For IAWDiag try 59M PF3C. If that doesn’t work 59M PF1C. still think JPDiag is not properly installed as there is no Com Port Showing and there is no text next to where you select Fast or Slow Init. https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/jpdiag.54256/
Thankyou Chris swaping the cable type gives me the com port and text for fast and slow options, I will try it now
Used the guzzidag, swapped the ecu type twice, and it cleared the service indicator, thanks for all the help Lads an
