Had a great weekend. Threw a party for my Mum’s birthday yesterday, so had 18 at ours for a bbq, didn’t get to bed until 3am this morning. Then got invited to an impromptu family bbq this afternoon. Absolutely knackered. And bloated. Gym ain’t gonna know what’s hit it tomorrow!
Went for a hoon around my favourite roads, had too many near misses with Sheep, Deer, Car drivers and finding the road not wide enough on a bend so a little on off road action. Unboxed my mail order Aldi impact driver, https://www.aldi.co.uk/impact-drive...1KRJy_u5Twf_gWHGW4BoCLekQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Tidied garage a little to make a little room to work on my bikes before selling 3 motorcycles my M900, Sportster and 749.
Did you not see the artist a minute ago with red stockings on.....there's your extra beef sir on the side.
Yes very disappointing these young groups today, i've just sent a text to a friend and just one word required.....Pants!
I can think of some old groups and individuals that have been pants this weekend, Paul McCartney being one of them. Andy
My conclusion is that their voices aren't the same as when in their youth, but i thought he was one of the better acts there this year. As for the Petshops Boys after just one track i switched the channel over as couldn't take him seriously with that thing attached to his head.
Age has a detrimental effect on singers ability to hit notes that in there youth they would find easy. When you’re watching these aged singers your watching a poor tribute act. They’ll be others but Robert Plant gets my vote for adjusting his music to suit his voice and not banging out the same old tunes. From 7 mins in Robert Plant, possibly the greatest rock vocalist…..well at least from the Black Country. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episo...leg-robert-plant-alison-krauss-wolf-alice-tlc
Damn my favourite man and i missed it. Also don't forget that with the wind howling across the stage that would've distorted the sound quality.
Which is why I went off outdoor events, I went to so many that were ruined by the weather conditions. But Glastonbury 95 or was it 96 was epic, Blue sky’s great mix of bands a truly amazing 3 days spent. Reading too the same year New Order were the stand out for me, closely followed by TheThe.
Been to see the bank manager about a loan so i can get a knighthood from Prince Charles then i will be known on here as Sir Roadtrip, nearly forgot also to buy a suitcase to put it in.
