from July 13th to July 19th, i'll be riding from California to Helena Montana, and then back, on my 1260s, to raise money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. i ordered some new trip products for this ride ... a sleeping bag liner (a body condom, to use when sleeping in questionable hotel beds), and a cooling vest, as the temps are higher this year.
grazie. a few years ago (about 6 months after i had a cardiac arrest) i rode my 2010 Multi 1200s solo, from the SF Bay Area up to my home town of Vancouver, BC, Canada, up highway 101 and 1. lots of twisties and wonderful scenery. that was a 1039.4 miles up, and i did it fairly quickly ... observing all the speed limits of course ;-)
Having had a brain tumor I applaud you, due to the UK 'National-health-service' I paid though my taxes for my own wellbeing & socieites larger benefit. And infact was a beneficiary of other peoples taxes due too the complexity of that treatment. The established socialised NHS system is heavily under threat from conservative agenda to privatise all manner of services. Which should be another good reason or morally sound cause too withdraw support for uk_tories. Knowing good american people actually fear getting ill because of the ungawdly costs involved in your 'for profit' system its abhorrent to say the least. Safe ride

Every asset the UK has will always be a target of the Tories. Firstly to run it down and cause the public to lose all faith & trust, second to sell it off cheap to their mates & families, lastly to ingratiate themselves with the new owners -now even richer mates- who appoint them as directors of their businesses. How is it that Swiss, French & Spanish governments own and very successfully operate trains and the UK cannot? Nationally owned schools were sold off, and the education industry makes millions whilst the tax payers fund it. GP practises are being sold off/ bought up by large corporations all over the country. Think thats a great idea? Thats exactly what happened to the dentistry in the UK and now many cannot get any treatment at all due to the cost. I travel a fair bit over the past nigh on ten years of HGV work & see rivers turned into streams. Local streams are drained & even flow backwards because aquifers are so heavily over pumped. The evil these elite scumbags are doing to nature for their own benefit is disgusting. All of these ponds & lakes they spread around are usually filled with foreign invasive plant species that rapidly spread take over & clogg what was formerly beautiful rivers with vegetation. From the abusive release of untreated sewage the sicko_tories are doing what they love & that's destroying public spaces & reducing wildlife habitat. I can only blame those who vote for them because these illminded elitists are not going too change.
