Chucked another couple of hundred miles on the bike, bought a cooling vest for the Italy trip (didn’t feel much cooler coming back from the shop, but they might not have put enough water in). Off for a Chinese tonight with my cousin and his other half.
Outside Edinburgh castle and I can hear Deacon blue having a practice for the concert they are doing in the castle tonight, I must be here on hottest day Edinburgh as ever had 23 sunny all day and no rain
The bike games never look real enough to me they always look like the bikes are floating on track. Had a couple of go’s on the f1 and managed to finish one 5 lap race with 2 pit stops carnage but good fun
Look at that you’ve even got helmets to wear whilst playing, you have the steering wheel and pedals don’t you along with the chair, gloves and boots too. My lads has the steering wheel and pedals for Dirt, great fun driving the old Lancia or Mini……. Watched a few clips on YouTube it just seems a story of killing people.
Had a very nice (if a trifle expensive) lunch in the 3 Daggers in Edington. Came home with pies for tea and a dozen bottles of Dagger's Blonde, a VERY palatable pale ale from the farm shop Andy
I’ve come down to my boat for the night as it’s much cooler on the water. I might actually get some sleep tonight.
Punch n Judy man Weiss beer with dinner and now on a fogcutter while chilling in the garden listening to classic Prince songs
Having a few days up on the Sunshine Coast at a place called Mooloolahba, 23c yesterday,..not bad for their “ winter “
Had the in-laws from Wales over for a bbq. 3 bottles of wine between two of us, I’ve bowed out for a nap in the shade.
Flew home from hols last night, had a bit of a dry throat. Woke up this morning and me and the Mrs feel shit, tickily cough and ache all over. Done a test, positive. Peed off as managed to avoid it all this time. Let work know I won't be in tomorrow.
I did bypass it and went to the gift shop next door, I was going to get a t towel but at £7,50 I didn’t bother, I do live the high life
