It gets better as the miles build, I have 8k miles on my V4S now, still manage to find neutral occasionally when going from 1st to 2nd, all the rest are good. It is a Ducati Box so still needs a firm nudge to make it work - up or down. When the revs are higher (5/6k and up) then it works really well, just like a seamless shift.
Hi, had a 1200 and 1260 they were easy shifting but just came back to ducati after 2 years on Kawasaki and finding shifting quite solid 2000 mls on the clock
Interesting as I find the shifting much easier on my V4 than my 1260 which was better than my 1200DVT
