Shame, but.. Nice to see it used as intended & not just in some collection gathering dust.

 

Very sad for the owner, let alone the driver...

 

The driver was fine & leaving aside the investment etc it didn't break my heart. That thing was the ugliest bread van I've ever seen.

 

One of one I believe, it will be rebuilt but I dread to think of the costs.

 

Do you think a insurance company would soak up the majority of those costs?

 

Not too sure you can get insurance for racing, I doubt they like the odds

Worked for guy who has 1960s Aston & Sunbeam Tiger, pretty sure they were both insured for classic races. They are obviously no where near value of the red Hovis van.

 

Not the first time the bread van has has some hefty damage. just a part of racing and the cost to rebuild will be a fraction of the things value.

 

F me. Looks like an expensive...toaster!

 

To be fair crashing it hasn’t made it look an worse!
