not stirring for the sake of it, maybe i am a little but that news just suits you - one person - can't you just see news as over-exaggerated maybe, and just pick up what you need? or just turn off/turn over?
The sad reality is that some people will die from this heat. Whilst, I am reasonably fit and healthy, others are more vulnerable. Whilst making light of it is a typical macho response by those with an empathy bypass, a lot of other people are more caring and sympathetic. Sure, some of you worked in hot climes. I lived in Hong Kong for a while when I was wee. But theres many elderly and poorly people struggling. These are the targets for the advice. Not the healthy or the prepared. It isnt about being woke unless you are the sort of person who twists things round to their limited narrative. Its about being caring.

That's true pf course and you're absolutely right - let's hope those older/inform people have someone looking out for them. I do however agree with the sentiment that we're spoon-fed basic advice, either the media want us to become or idiots or they think we already are.
