The media always over blows everything. It is important to note that the overwhelming majority of our media is controlled by right wing media moguls. The BBC is guilty too but from the other extreme, but at least its motive is benign and towards caring. Albeit from a Blue Peter middle class twin set and pearl perspective.

I’m convinced the media at large are the reasons or at very least the lionshare of the reason why this country is mullered.

HOWEVER… I do also think the public are at fault for relentlessly (again for the most part) lapping it up time and time again. Sensationalism everywhere !

i maintain that if you don’t watch / read the news like I generally don’t, it’s business as usual.

I got heatstroke at lemans. All day in leathers in 30+ degree heat.

to say I felt horrendous is an understatement ! I couldn’t keep anything down including water - which was a nice touch.

 

Im in a nice air conditioned office. But the walk home yesterday was a bastard. I was drenched in sweat by the time i got home because some idiot decided living halfway up a steep hill was a great idea.

I slept with frozen gel packs wifey had for her frozen shoulder. Worked a treat. I slept well.

I drove the van in today. Fuck that hill.

 

Can I just say "arse'oles", apropos of nothing really? Though I suppose they could be sweaty.
