Left The Fold For A R1200rs

  1. After struggling to ride the 1098 last year due to an ongoing health condition, I sold it on to a mate of mine last November.
I replaced it with said R1200RS which is much easier on the ageing body. Tbf I’ve really taken to it, especially as I’m happy to leave it parked up where I was too precious to leave the duke unattended so it’s getting much more use.
Seems I’ve become such a bm fanboy that I’ve now added an old banger to keep it company.:astonished:
Hopefully I’ll be able to sort a 999 or 900ss to improve the garage in a year or so.
    Sorry o_O

  3. Well bloody hell, you might have a good point there. Looks like an interesting machine. Is there a fixing for panniers? Pretty much what I’ve been waiting for Ducati to produce for years and I’m out of patience now.

Much like the Kawasaki z1000sx but I just can’t bring myself to ride a Kawasaki in-line 4. Maybe I should test ride them both though.

  4. Yes panniers as well :)
I’ve done one overnight camping trip with it and it passed the fill with tinnies test with flying colours.
