Visited the Ducati factory. The last two photos a 996 and I think a 1098 had UK plates, well impressive!
Decided the rgv was sitting a bit flat so machined down the tie bars slightly to get more adjustment. Not that it needs to steer any quicker....
Dropped my 1260 Mutley off at Motovation here in Cheltenham for Tim to do the Desmo service, belts and a few other service items ahead of next months Corsica trip. Very reassuring to have it in the hands of a well respected expert, local too which is a bonus. Hoping to get it back before the weekend. A few have warned that might not be the case. However, he assured me this morning that it would be ready. GF needs a bit more bike time to be sure that she wants to join me on this trip. Living in hope.
New sprockets and chain fitted (for me) this morning and on my way home, dropped in to a local e bicycle retailer for a test ride. Not totally convinced but they are going to lend me the e bike I preferred, for a longer test when we take Carole’s new e bike back for its complimentary 150 mile first service. Andy
