  1. I enjoy golf , but I cant stand that stuck up git who commentates on BBC. The old git thinks it's the 1950's still.

  2. Peter Aliss

  3. Peter Alliss is 82 and the golf equivalent to "Blowers" in cricket. The guy's a legend and comes out with some real droll stuff, usually at the expense of those on boats, those eating ice creams, and the idiosyncrasies of the golf establishment. I love listening to him but you've got to imagine he's your long lost granddad......

  4. He's the golf equivalent of David Attenborough. Still alive - Just. I do enjoy golf and played comps for a fair while, but Alliss is in wonderland..................

  5. Just like Capt Barnacle in BSB then...cant even tell a Honda from a Kawasaki

  6. My dad is a retired club pro and I played a lot in my youth, got to 3. I know a fair bit about the game and even I think Peter Alliss is a tool. Great player in his day, but only works for two weeks a year with the beeb. The Masters and the Open. Frankly, that's all I can stand

  7. The game of golf is a good walk spoiled

  8. Not if you're any good it isn't :upyeah:
