So what have you done today..?

  1. Cleaned my clubs and marked my balls :astonished: for a round in High Wycombe on Friday. It'll be an 8 hour round trip.

Had a swap around, ditched the five iron and added a 7 wood I've had 25 years to the bag. Yes it's a bit of a girlie club many say, but when struggling with the long irons, it gets me on 180 yard par three greens.

    Wish me luck!

  2. It’s a real hoot…just loves to misbehave and then go nice and slow… split personality.

  3. How long have you had yours? Any pro's and con's, don't really like the split dash but I think I saw a news /photo leak of next year's model with a large tft colour display and radar for ACC. Might wait for next spring to take the plunge. Or might opt for the V4 Multi after a test ride !!

  4. that's a really lovely picture Rich:upyeah:(it's spelt "road" btw).

  5. Did a quick ride up towards the Cotswolds earlier and a van driver coming the other way started frantically flashing his light at me so I slowed right down and around the next blind bend was a large length of box section steel tube lying across my side of the carriageway. Nice one that van driver!

  6. Cleaned the house first thing then went out for the first time on the Scrambler after it had shit itself up in Scotland a few weeks ago.

Did 170 miles round West Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Cheshire. I am pleased to report it acted impeccably :)

Tomorrow I'm going north for a couple of days :)

  7. Should be but there's not a lot in it tbh :)

  8. Ride out to Devils Bridge, for a bacon and egg butty, then onwards into Yorkshire to Hawes .
    Good day out.

  9. Discovered the Scrambler had a flat tyre and seeing it hasn’t turned a wheel since new tyres were fitted a couple of weeks ago, took the loose wheel back to the tyre fitter. Turns out he’d fitted a duff 90° tyre valve so easily sorted and the bike is all back together again. Whilst I was in the garage, finally got round to finishing the cleaning of the Givi top box adaptor plate stays I replaced last week and got a coat of primer on them ready for a top coat tomorrow. All go here :D Andy

  11. Unleashed yet more chemical WMDs on a wasp nest in my roof space. After 3 days of chemical warfare it looks like job done. It must have been a decent size nest judging by the amount of wasp traffic in and out of little gap in the mortar they managed to find. I still need to fill that.

  12. Had it since March 22. To be honest the dash is not the best…but all I need to know is speed, so in effect it is fine. So easy to change modes…Ducati take note. I have done long journeys, fast journeys, urban riding and it’s great at them all. Seat took some getting used too. Heated grips brilliant, weather protection good. Fuel consumption 53mpg average. Headlights good. Pillion comfort superb.

what’s not to like… it’s not as good as a Duke over 120mph. You notice some sharp bits when cleaning, didn’t notice that on MTS. I will always love my time riding Ducati, but they don’t fit me anymore so I have found a new steed that is also brilliant, but maybe 98% as absorbing as Ducati, not 100%. But I love it.

  14. Great, thanks. The demonstrator I took out came up for sale they tried ringing me while I was out on the Multi, I didn't answer, by the time I'd stopped for a coffee and called back, it had been sold.

The dash for me was a bad point too, but have seen the spy shots of next years model and looks like it'll have a single large colour tft screen, and also front radar for ACC.
Will wait for next year's model, unless a V4 Multi hijacks my heart/money !!

  15. I once tried to eliminate a wasps nest by blocking the holes with filler, did you know they can eat through walls, and not need a drink for 3 weeks. Needless to say I pissed them off royally!!

  17. I had the same a few years back, some details still on here. The nest was the largest i'd ever seen in the flesh. After a faulty foam spray aerosol (the 2nd one) I tried the "powder puff" option, and very glad it worked as they were coming for me at the time but all fell by the wayside. I would thoroughly recommend this, and good value for money compared to the foam spray, although I have had later success with these as you can squirt from a good distance away provided it's working as intended.

  18. Had a call from my brother this morning when I was in Germany to say that our Dad passed away yesterday evening. Had to get home as quickly and safely as possible, and am now preparing to fly to the US next week to deal with everything.
