  1. Hi all, I’ve been lurking in the back ground for a while loving the info and help you give each other.
I’m now looking at buying my first duke, after many years of bikes. So any help is much much appreciated.
    Cheers peeps

  13. Can some one tell me if it’s normal for a 959 clutch to chatter a little on tickover ? Then when u pull the clutch in it goes ? Release the clutch and noise is back.
One I’ve noticed it on 2 now. Cheers.

  14. Welcome and enjoy

  16. 959’s are generally sound. Normal checks apply particularly if it’s been tracked (accident damage, lock stops etc). Big service at 15000 miles and annual service up to then. Expect to pay £225 -£285 for standard service. Paint is not lacquered so can mark easily. Clutch should be smooth and not grabby. Wet mode is rubbish, avoid.

  17. There're plenty of folk on here with those particular machines, it's just a case of will they help or not through their shyness.

  18. Welcome to the forum.:)
