My first yellow Ducati: I had the dealer find me a yellow one, passing on the red one they had in stock. Likely because in '93 I had become infatuated with a Super Light when I saw one at the same dealer. In the USA this was a one year only model, and it was only available in yellow. I ran the numbers in my head for about half an hour while I stared at it, but ended up not buying it. One of my few Ducati regrets. I've had three Super Sports since then, but none of them were Super Lights. Flash forward to this summer and I tried to sell a bike to get the downpayment on a new Streetfighter. "No trades" said the ad. I got offers for trade anyway, including one for a 1993 Super Light that had been sitting unused for 20 years. When the offer was made I started writing a reply turning it down, but sometimes when I write, topics shift and things get confused. Long story short the day before I picked up the Street Fighter I got the title to this. I ended up having to sell my 851 to raise money for the Street Fighter. But I've got a Super Light now. So I've got that going for me. After spending a ton of time and money on it I still can't get it to run right, but it's a process...
