It's a small track but hard work. No long straight to take a breather. Hated the 996 this morning, couldn't get used to road shift again, so a couple of times tried to take the hairpin in 6th. Brakes felt shit. Few adjustments and everything was ok
I was entertained at the south of England showground yesterday with two friends ( things are looking up ) with wonderful machines on display and many folk riding in on their pride & joy etc. If only we could ride a different type of motorcycle every weekend before we die.
Washed the boat, found that the sink drain in the head was leaking so ripped that all apart and fixed it (I think) now drinking a cider.
Recently bought a new camping compressor fridge for Silverstone this weekend to be informed that the 240v power sockets provided in the glamping tent are for phone chargers and small amp electricals Had an idea and now deep recovering a 1.1Kw/h leisure battery and jury rigged a 15A cigarette lighter so I can use the fridge's 12V cable. Man maths reckons an appliance that uses 0.2Kw/h every 24 hours should run the whole weekend on a 1.1Kw/h rated battery. Going to take a Nocco Gen 2 charger just in case. The things you have to do to have a cold beer to hand Andy
Brembo M4's arrived today... upgrading the brakes on my track bike, hel H patten race lines next.... matched with the RCS19 should be a great improvement.
Pre chill the beers for the fridge and load it full and you should be fine. That battery equates to a 130ah battery I think, compressor fridges click on and off so they are not a constant load. Get a solar panel and wire that in to top the battery up if possible.
i'd a plasterer in today for a short period, messy and very expensive for throwing muck at walls in my opinion.
I have many and this is covering 9 individual tattoo's, but no, not liking it. This is the end result we are hoping for...
