Hi all, Looking to remove my full akrapovic system, I bought the system new, was installed by Ducati, I have been given a DDS map key with the standard exhaust, which I intend to re-fit. How do I use the map key to remove the upmap? Can I do it myself, or does it need to go back to the dealer? Will be punting the exhaust on here shortly after removal, offers around 2.5k will be considered, only 1000 miles old, never seen the rain etc, absolutely mint. Thanks in advance.
I don't have a 1299 and so won't be buying your system. But I am curious to know why you are removing it?
Not very helpful then , simple really, £4500 extra, people won't pay £4500 extra when I stick the Panigale up for sale, Lucky to see another £500 with it bolted to the bike unfortunately.
Thanks, Yes, well not yet.. as soon as it is back to standard how nature intended. Also have the 7 spoke wheels up for grabs, on the bay of fleas currently, would post in the sales section on here but I don't have those privileges yet sadly. I paid top money for the exhaust so hoping to return a fair buck.
I'm sure its a dealer only job. Cost me around £35 to get the map put on so probably around the same to get it removed?
Thanks for that Sonic, may just return the exhaust to standard myself then take the bike in the van to have map switched.
It's not gone yet, wheels are still on fleabay.. Might have a change of heart, it doesn't have to go, it's just I'm running out of space and I'd like a couple of classics. Exhaust is coming off regardless though.
