  1. Rain checks issued for the Snitterby meeting scheduled for this evening.
    We will try tomorrow instead.

  4. Unfortunately adulting got in the way for me, bah. :(

  5. Is it Bike Night at the Plough in South Leverton tonight?

  6. You're right. It was... bugger completely distracted by normal life.

  7. It's on tonight Steve, heading over on the Scrambler or on the MHR I think with my buddy on his GS.

  8. We will be having a Change of venue for the August North Lincs Ducati meet to Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby - its their Bike Night.

  9. Anyone heading to the Plough at South Leverton tonight?

  10. Yes, me!

Will be with my Dad, he'll be on his yellow Scrambler Icon and I'll be on either my Scrambler Classic or my 350 Desmo (depending on how lazy I'm feeling).

  11. Going straight from Work so will be on my commuter Aprilia Shiver along with my L-Plate Lady on her CB125F.

  12. Aha I looked out for you but didnae see you. We were there for a bit but it was quite hot so we went for a ride about to cool down. :)

  13. We parked down at the old garage forecourt.
Did nae see you either but there was a Yellow Scrambler parked next to a Black 800 Monster opposite the Pub.
There was a really good variety of old & new tonight.
LOTS of Triumphs of all eras and plenty of American Iron.
Classic Japan was well represented too - 2 Mint 350 LCs and a 250 and a powervalve, and Suzuki GTs and Honda CB750s.
East Kirkby next, for the Buell & Italian day on Saturday, then back again for more Merlins next Weds at the Bike Night there.

  14. Yeah we saw the Scrambler and monster, there was a nice black and gold bevel 900SS there too, and a lovely little Bianchi. Some really nice machines but it was warm, was nice riding round the Wolds for a bit though. Tempted to have a wobble round on the little Desmo again tonight if I get my other jobs done.

  15. Anyone heading to East Kirkby Tonight?
I should be there by 7. Probably on the Aprilia due to the 15C temp and windchill, I will need my heated grips.

  16. Plough at Leverton again tonight and it is Sunny.
Heading straight from work, should be there just after 6.

  17. Yeah I'm planning on heading over. Having ridden the MHR last night to Goodmanham I no longer hinge in the middle... so might be on something comfortable... :D

  18. Hi Fire3500, the MHR looked great and sounded good last night. Excellent use of the car park slope to start for journey home:):upyeah:!!
    I was on the 888 Strada:motorcycleduc:

  19. Cheers buddy, I'd have happily swapped with you. Your 888 was mega, beautiful thing and 5000% more comfortable / useful-as-a-motorbike. Sounded ace as you came in!

Gave the Mike Harding Replica a couple of limp prods and then went for the bump start option (strategic parking early in the evening paid off). Didn't catch on the first attempt (1st gear) but sparked right up on the second (2nd gear). Don't think I'd tickled its front carb sufficiently. Heavy old Hector. :)

Let the side down tonight, was on the GS on medical grounds.

  20. [QUOTE="Fire3500 Let the side down tonight,[/QUOTE]

So did I, on the Aprilia, as I went straight from work.
Excellent variety of machinery as usual.
Good to see you and talk all things bike.
Should be on a Ducati next week for the last one at the Bottle & Glass, Normanby by Spital, with daylight this year.
