I really enjoyed The Bridge. I also need to drain my CH to replace a couple of rads and some valves that are weeping.
Well after a free week on the coast in Spitfire country it's time to return homeward bound tonight or tomorrow morning, with a walkout each day speaking with locals in this fab weather it's been nice to forget about troubled waters back at the ranch, but the feet are bloody hurting now...........i can have next week as well if required.
18 holes at Cotswold Hills as day one of three day society matches. All local to me, which is nice. And won today (nice £30 in the bin) so leading into tomorrow
The cone is off, and she’s back to normal now. We have to walk her up the steps at night on a lead now, as she hasn’t learnt her lesson!
Yesterday I went strawberry picking with my niece and her kids. Then a lovely dinner yesterday evening in Yarm Today I’m off to Helmsley
Bought a rose to plant over some of my Dad’s ashes in the garden later. Now sat in the garden with a couple of cocktails. Went to the butchers to get some meat for the bbq.
Bike prepped. Tunnel booked for Monday. Stop over in Luxembourg 2 nights then off to Provence for a month. Hoping the temps drop for the run. Bins are taken care of in my absence.
Day 2 of 3 and what a shite course naunton downs is!! Played shit to match it. Although still drinking rum at 0300 this morning and 36 deg in the sun may have had something to do with it
Probably one handicap too far. So long as you’re having fun (which you clearly are), that’s all that matters. To the 19th!!….
