Hi welcome We are in South Yorkshire, where roughly are you? You'll be marked down on here for no proper wheelie bin pics! Nc30 vfr? I had nc24 and Nc30. Could never keep carbs clean on Nc30, wouldn't start well cos of it, soflogged it on. Cheers Kevin
I’m near York. Mine has been a dream to own. Only prob it’s had is the standard typical Honda reg rectify failing.
848 (non evo) and a 2001 750s ie which is currently undergoing a 916 transplant and 916 fairing being grafted on. You any closer to finding one yet?
There's a time to have & a time to sell. Looks its in good condition, so you should get a few extra £s for your Ducati fund.
How did you get on viewing the Duc the other day? My nephew has a 959 for sale if you're interested. Cheers Kevin
Hi. Not sure I dare say ! I wasn’t keen on the engine braking esp 2nd gear tight corners when u need to get back on the throttle nice and smooth. Then the last thing was it didn’t excite me I didn’t get off it all giddy ready to rush in to the shop and buy it. So I decided against it, done a bit more research and testing before settling on something else none Ducati sorry, I will get my coat ♂️
Hi No need to get your coat, if we were all the same life would be pretty dull and everyone would be driving around in German cars.....Hang on? I can appreciate the engine and torque characteristics of the L twins to be very different from jap staff - that's presumably why us on here buy Ducatis over inline fours. The newest I've ridden is my 848, so can't comment on how much the back wheel likes to lock up on the newer Ducs' with slipper clutches on. I'm not the best of riders, but I do have the upmost respect for my Ducatis and don't push em anywhere near to their limits as I haven't got the control if it goes wrong. I just enjoy the looks, the noise and proud ownership status of having one. What other manufacturers are you looking at? Cheers Kevin
