I purchased some ox bloods last year, can’t seem to break them in, worth a tidy penny now , even the disc brakes were shit .
I never got the discs to work properly either. It was always braking by anticipation on my lammies. Closest I got was when I got hydraulic kit, but tbh the disc was probably fecked. I concentrated more on blowing engines up. Ox bloods, nice. My DM's were proper red. From Shelleys on Deptford High St, rare as fuck back then. Common as fuck now.
I'd disagree, you see everything, the atmosphere is amazing and you do get good racing just not at 200+mph Again, personally I haven't been to SS in years as you see very little for your $$$ and you're so far removed from the track/atmosphere and have picked other Euro/Australasia rounds instead.
The year I went to Silverstone (when Vinales won on the suzuki) my experience was poor. I had a grandstand seat opposite the start/finish line but you needed binoculars to see anything. After the start, there was no big screen within eye line, so all I saw was riders coming past the pits every lap. I shall not go again.
Completely agree with you as a spectacle track side but it doesnt create the best racing (as in if you were watching on telly). Its slow and dull with little overtaking. Even the moto 3 race is generally shit and thats some achievement.
Im going to throw Uncle Johan into the mix for this weekend on that lilac monstrosity. Certainly for pole anyway.
'Odgy has already called the new chicane mickey mouse but the whole circuit already was , 8 turns isnt a fkn gp circuit. Just startin to dry out with 5 mins left of MGP FP1.
I've to say MM looks very tried in the face these days, my advice would be take the rest of the season off and get fit for 2023.
Bloody ages. I speak from person experience (snapped heel and dislocated ankle - put back in by paramedics or I would have lost my foot apparently). After my operation to insert screws etc I was in plaster for 8 weeks. Then crutches and a boot for a further 4. Then a stick. Then weeks/months of physio.
McPhee embarrassing himself again, waiting for a tow when you haven’t even got a decent time on the board? Tit. Where next for him?
I didn't see it but perhaps a P45, his time is up.!! With the Ducati's locking out the front row it should be interesting race, but don't rule out Mr Yamaha for his second title this year.
With spots of rain coming down on track in the warm ups the main race could be interesting with a non-favourite rider winning it.
Story of the season isnt it really, which is why its been so good to watch. You could probably look as far down as rins in 11th for todays win imo (and even Binder in 12th has previous of course!!).
Exactly this gets bums on seats unlike the old days with one guy bossing it every weekend, Jake needs to try and win the championship next year and then move upto the blue ribbon class, another Brit in that class would help viewers.
Dixon has to be the highlight of the season for a british racing fan surely, and so much more refreshing to see him enjoying himself than the dour faces of the likes of mcphee and crutchlow (and danny kent going a bit further back ). If its true that british riders dont get going til their 30s hes going to be right up there with the best weve ever produced if he keeps progressing at this rate. Shame the racing was largely dull as dish water but not a huge surprise , they could have four races a weekend at the a ring and theyd all be the same. Having said that another extra lap and Fabeyowww could have....
