Hi I’ve just joined the forum. I’ve had motorbikes since I was 16 way back in 1962. Quite a variety of them, many were British bikes but also a lot of BMWs and a couple of Japanese Multies. I own a Velocette Venom which I built from spares about 22 years ago that is on the road and have just sold my 2010 Bonneville and replaced it with a 1999 Ducati M900 Monster, the last of the carburettor models. The Bonneville was becoming too heavy to manoeuvre in and out of my shed and the Ducati being almost 25 kgs lighter and much less top heavy is far easier to handle. I have always admired the Monster since it’s launch and this is my first Ducati I have owned. I have a couple of queries I hope the members can help with:- 1. Has anyone experience with fitting a centre stand to a M900? 2.Where can I buy the black large diameter shouldered Allen bolts and rubber collets that fit the rear brake pedal, gear lever, side stand and pillion footrests to the subframe? Also does anyone know what they are called? Thank you.
