Anybody going over for the manx? I'm out there Friday through to the middle of next week. Anybody who's never been, get across, it's a great event. Much more relaxed than the TT, less traffic, less crowds, much much easier viewing and good riding. It's got to the stage where I'm preferring the manx to the TT these days, but i cannot get the TT bug out of my veins, so I go to both.

I'll have a nosey round the pits tomorrow and try and get some snaps. Weather ropey tomorrow morning, could be delays, which suits me as I'm not on the island until 3pm. There's road closure permitted from 6pm Friday if needed. Meant to be races and practice from dinnertime onwards tomorrow but weather I suspect is gonna mean delays. Great forecast for the coming few days though. Plan is, st ninians friday, Saturday Glen duff and Monday barregarrow crossroads. I can't be on the island and not have a day at barregarrow, it's breathtaking! Anybody going, have a great, safe few days and I'll see you on the island

Had a nosey round the pits today, Dunlop's unreliable gsxr750 srad looks well but I don't think it'll be our on Monday in the race and a nice little 250 honda...

Tell you what, classic superbikes take me back, I'm mid twenties again, lots of hair and teeth at the TT of old, loved it. Great meeting is the manx, I'll be there next year
