Went walking in the Black mountains this morning got back and taxed my car after two years and went for a drive.

 

I’m due to play a society reunion golf day at Henbury later this month. Not picked up my Titleists since c 2007 - I ‘retired’ from golf on a handicap of 9.8. Any guesses at to how many points I’m likely to score or how many balls I’ll lose ?!!!

 

Went and picked up our campervan , booked up a night away local tomorrow to give it a first try . £30 for the night . £290 to tax it

Went for a heart and lung scan - in Asda's car park

Initiated by age, initially be a telephone consultation, which went something like this...

Nurse: Hello, I'm calling to carry out your telephone consultation.

Me: Hi, how long will this take?

Nurse: About 45 minutes, shall we start...

Nurse: Height?

Me: Little

Nurse: Weight?

Me: Fat

Nurse: Do you smoke, or have you ever smoked?

Me: No, stopped around 5 years ago

Nurse: How many a day did you smoke?

Me: 80

Nurse: (we are three minutes in) Can you come for a scan on Friday?

I've had a couple of days away down in Chichester relaxing with some friends, and they let me in the Chichester yacht club, laugh out loud.

Got the ferry to the bottom of ullswater and walked back

 

First night away in our new camper van, only local to give it a try but all good so far

I did that walk a couple of years ago but did the walk first and took the ferry back. It was more arduous than I thought it was going to be. Lovely though.
