So what have you done today..?

  1. 3 hours 50 according to my fitbit including a couple of stops. Was trying to average 3 mph, but as @Wally says its a bit arduous in places

  2. I always thought that would require a submarine and perhaps some swimming?

  4. Taking my grandson to the Chelsea v West Ham game this afternoon.
Not the most enjoyable ride but better than sitting at home.

  5. My wife and I hosted a party to celebrate my Dad’s life. Had about 36 of us, all family and close friends, managed to be in the garden most of the day. It was an absolutely fantastic day, he’d have been very happy.

My brother and I are off to scatter his ashes today, then we’re going for lunch at my Dad’s favourite restaurant.

  6. All the best @Multirider75 will raise a glass later to your dad, you and the family.

Packed for our little (she thinks romantic) two night stay in a village just outside Bakewell. Weather looks like sh1te, but there's three pubs within a minutes walk, so that's maybe as far as we'll get.

I won this at a charity auction for the kids of Ukraine, paying three times over the booking price when I was pished, but all for a good cause.

  8. Started with a stableford comp at 828 tee time….I’m not an early morning golfer! 36 points so not too bad

got a beef and ale pie in the making, cooling ready for the top before Sunday lunch a bit later

Fitted the new Blink cam. Bit disappointed tbh, didn’t realise it isn’t always-on, but being battery fed that makes sense. Now to test its alert system…

Just finished putting the castors on my home made workbench. Managed to use lots of stuff I already had in making it, plus about ÂŁ40 of wood, and nice and big and sturdy and now mobile! Next will be fill the screw heads to sand down and paint so looks a bit nicer.

Hoping the bolts I bought for the mirrors turn up so I can get this f@cking panigale fairing back on and MOTd!!

  10. Drove to Bakewell, consumed 6 pints of cider and a roast dinner. Now plotted up in our cottage for the next few days and getting kicked for farting on a very small sofa watching a telly too small to see.

  13. Received a vehicle tax renewal confirmation for the ladys car who used to live here three years ago and seemingly still has her car registered to this address.
Do i need to be concerned by this?

  14. So if she moved out three years ago why haven't you addressed the problem already.

  15. Its never come up. I also tend to throw most of her shite straight in the bin - it was only cos i recognised the dvla envelope i opened it.

  16. Return to sender then is the way forward.

  17. As the DVLA has your address for her vehicle, all NIP’s, parking fines and such like, will drop on your mat and your house will be the first port of call for any bailiff looking to collect on court judgements. It could realistically affect your credit rating as well. Andy

  18. Best get onto the DVLA to show transparency and nip the majority of their conclusion jumping in the bud, bud. :upyeah:
