  1. Well not exactly, but better than rainy.
Long term rider, having had most types of bikes over the years including a 750ss and a 749. After an on off period of BMW ownership (Still have a R9T) picked up a 2017 Multistrada at the weekend.

Great first impressions, quick and flexible enough, comfy, and oh the sound!!!! Lovely.

Fitting a Garmin XT at the weekend, then have to get to grips with syncing my Sena 50s to Bike, Nav etc. Any tips?

    See you out there.

  5. Welcome to the forum Greybloke.

Forget about using the bike as a Bluetooth hub and use the XT instead would be my advice. Why add an extra step in the process. Pair phone and headset to the Garmin, job done. There's nothing particularly useful about having the bike's dash involved.

  6. Welcome into our mad house grey one :)

  7. Cheers, good advice I suspect. I’ll give it a go.

  8. Evening greybloke, do enjoy yourself.

  9. My point is that the bike can display info and the left switch-gear, I believe, can change tracks/answer calls etc. However, a/ I tend not to bother with any of that whilst riding (might play music on a long autoroute section, though that's a a case of set and forget before riding), b/ The touch-screen controls via the XT are less fiddly and distracting than trying to navigate the bike menus via the switch-gear anyway, and c/ If you're using the high mount, above the clocks, the info on the XT is far more readable.

    All IMHO.
