Only just seen pets corner Firstly hope Gwen recovers ok, looks a large wound so wish her well Heres my tribe, doing what they do best
Cheers Matey Gwen's bounced back (as they do). The wound is about 3" long, so lots of stitches, plus some more internally. TBH it made me feel quite sick when I first saw it. Vet did a smashing job pulling it all back together neatly.
Frank and Tilly. Just about up now and almost stopped chewing, the little twats. A particular penchant for sunglasses, shoes and (expensive) handbags. So mainly the wife’s stuff… Phew!! They’re totally bonkers and adorable in equal measure
One of my favourite all time videos. Were they teething? When Iggy went through his chewing phase he had a thing for iPhone and MacBook charging leads, footwear too and so my sons lost several pairs of trainers. It was obviously tiring work though....
Thanks .. and yeah..it did. It was one of those moments when it feels like your whole being just drained to your shoes.
Yeah teething… little teeth all over the floor tiles… And done a few quids worth on the way About 3 pairs of Oakley sunglasses… my wife had a brand new pair of trendy trainers popped over the fence from Amazon man. Unfortunately this pair got to them first… uh oh, they did like a bit of soft leather at the time…. Mulberry handbag went west as well. That was grim. Silence ensued for quite some time…. And I resisted any jokes about handbags
I’d have been frantically reaching for the crockery shield if I’d said anything. You know when you can sense danger? Even though there’s silence you know danger is very close
A former mate of mine had one of those as a guard dog, but it was so dopey it couldn’t even guard itself and one night somebody stole it
Well if you can get past mine I’ll give you my bike! They are extremely protective of my property and us. I’ve had 6 Ridgebacks over the years (all rescue dogs except 1 ) and all of them have been extremely protective of their home and pack (us) . Your mate had a duff one!
What bike have you got? I might take you up on that challenge. Dogs love me and even when they don’t, I find most are receptive to bribes of ginger biscuits. My Iggy would sell his soul just for a sniff of the empty packet
